This is the first Forrester Wave evaluation for B2B Event Management Technology. The evaluation includes 14 vendors that met the inclusion criteria of having more than $10 million annual revenue from B2B event management solutions, supporting clients across in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, and receiving significant Forrester client interest.
A: As this is the inaugural Forrester Wave for B2B Event Management Technology (Q1 2023), there are no vendors appearing or dropping from a previous evaluation. The market has undergone significant transformation over the past three years due to the pandemic, which turbocharged the B2B event tech market as outside investment poured into the sector and vendors competed to respond to surging demand for virtual and hybrid event capabilities. Post-pandemic, vendors have concentrated on broadening their capabilities, adding support for new, simpler virtual event types, and refocusing on in-person event functionality. Future evaluations may see vendor composition changes as the market continues to evolve and consolidate.
