This evaluation focuses on CAT (Continuous Automation and Testing) service providers in the context of GenAI revolutionizing the testing market. Providers were evaluated on their ability to: 1) Speed transition from manual to automated testing (70-80% automation achieved by reference clients), 2) Proficiently deliver testing services for modern application development (MAD), and 3) Pragmatically infuse genAI into testing tools to bolster testers' productivity and test AI-infused applications (AIIAs).
A: Vendors must meet inclusion criteria including: $300 million minimum in annual CAT services revenue, differentiating capabilities and/or global reach (revenue in at least two regions representing more than 15% of total CAT services revenue), and significant analyst and/or peer recognition. Vendors may decline to participate fully in the evaluation process, in which case they are scored according to Forrester's vendor participation policy and marked as nonparticipating vendors in the Wave graphic.
