  • Business Model: Despite strong revenue and customer numbers, project44 is not yet profitable, but it is a target for the company. During the evaluation period of this research, the vendor prioritized investment in innovation over profitability.

  • Customer Experience: Shippeo customers report high levels of satisfaction with the solution. This is supported by Gartner Peer Insights scores, as it earned the highest overall score and one of the highest "willingness to recommend" scores among all the vendors in this Magic Quadrant.

  Cons:

  • Geographic Strategy: Shippeo's global reach trails other leaders in this research. Most of Shippeo's customer base is in Europe. However, the vendor did demonstrate growth in 2023 in other regions, particularly North America, both in terms of customers and revenue, along with offices and staff presence.
  • Sales Strategy: Shippeo's total revenue and number of customers remain significantly lower than the other Leaders in this Magic Quadrant. However, the vendor did demonstrate the highest growth year over year, both in terms of number of customers and revenue percentage.
